West 12th Street (south/west) This corner was not less than 90-degrees, but I'm including the photo of the old Art Theater for nostalgia buffs because that was a great theater back in the day. I remember seeing Spinal Tap there.

Greenwich and 7th Avenue South - North - Date to come - This was the Loew's Sheridan theater. Hopper was an avid moviegoer. His 1937 painting "The Sheridan Theater" was set here. (The huge 2,342 seat theater opened in 1921 and closed in 1969).

The red arrow in the white map below the next small yellow map indicates the direction of the next photo. The shot goes across the tip of the gas station parking lot on the south end of what is know as Mulbry Square. This parking lot was the site where for many years people thought Nighthawks was painted, though it has been an empty parking lot since at least the 1930's if not before. The lot is now under development by the MTA.

The grouping of painted tiles that you see on the fence was a memorial by local schoolchildren to the Victims of 9/11. They have been saved and moved elsewhere.
