Washington Square South, east end, the car in the center is on West Broadway (now LaGuardia Place).
This is a screengrab from the motion picture WOMAN'S WORLD from 1954. I thinked they put an awning on a building with a ground floor parking lot entrance and pretended it was a restaurant called "Tony's." The view is looking west from Wooster Street.
This is Washington Square south between West Broadway and Thompson. In the back right we can see Judson Church. There are paintings on the fence at right, so this was probably taken during the Greenwich Village Arts Market. The buildings pictured are #63, 62, and 61 Washington Square South.

#61, the "House of Genius" is the 4th townhouse down from the front one with the Coca Cola sign. The landlady of this apartment building, Madama Branchard, liked to rent out to artists and writers. Among those were: Willa Cather, Stephen Crane, Frank Norris, Alan Seeger, john Sloan, James Speyer, and Carl Van Doren.
